The fateful shipping of the whaling ship, Pequod, under the command of the monomaniacal Captain Ahab, who is hunting the great white whale Moby Dick, was performed theatrically on September 9th, 2017 with all its drama and philosophy in the waters of Linz at the Danube Station No. 1. An enthralling open-air multimedia musical event with a lot of action, a great orchestra on the shipping stage and a brilliant speaker (dubbing actor of Robert De Niro) could enthuse an audience of about 90,000 people.
