The Danube station 32 in Linz is now in Urfahr!
The Danube station 32 in Linz has been moved to the other bank! Danube station 32 was recently relocated from the Römerberg tunnel on the right bank of the Danube to Urfahr on the left bank of the Danube. This transfer is a WIN-WIN situation. The ships no longer have to moor at the stern, guests can now enter and exit in spacious areas, there are bus parking spaces 300 m away for guests to enter and exit, a sewage and water connection will be implemented in the coming weeks and in the coming ones year a shore power connection is installed. This facility is one of the most ecological in Linz! From the Danube station you have a wonderful view of the stylishly illuminated Lentos, the Brucknerhaus and the old town of Linz. The Ars Electronica Center (AEC), also known as the "Museum of the Future" is within walking distance of the Danube station.
The Urfahranermarkt is held twice a year directly in front of it. This is a biannual fair that has existed since 1817, when Emperor Franz I authorized the holding of two fairs per year.
