Discovery tour on a cruise ship

Ybbs a.d. Donau/ On April 16th, DonauStationen, together with Ybbs Mayor Ulrike Schachner and the shipping company Nicko cruises, invited people to an exclusive ship tour. Ybbs is increasingly being discovered as an attractive anchor point for luxury cruises. On board the elegant MS Belvedere and MS Nickovision, residents were given an insight into the modern standards and exclusive ambience of today's luxury liners.

“How does it feel to be a guest here, how do you perceive the Danube and the city of Ybbs from on board a ship, what technology is behind it - we were able to experience all of this up close,” said the visitors: inside, enthusiastic about the exclusive view behind the backdrops of the river cruise. “Ybbs in the Nibelungengau is increasingly being discovered by cabin shipping. Ideally located to embark on shore excursions by coach or to host guests again. An attractive Danube station, sufficient parking spaces nearby and excellent access for buses make this possible. For Ybbs, this means a welcome tourist enrichment,” says Ulrike Schachner, the mayor of the city of Ybbs. The MS Belvedere and the MS Nickovision have been docking regularly in Ybbs for several years now, and the Zwölfer company from Melk organizes charming shore excursions in and around Ybbs.
