September 6 – Linz Klangwolke 2025 – Urban Pulse

What defines the pulse of the city of Linz? What rhythm beats in its heart? What tempo is inscribed in it?

This year's Klangwolke took us back to the roots of the beginning. With a newly composed work for percussion ensemble and large orchestra, a huge sound space was created in the open air.

100,000 spectators listened enthusiastically to the MOTUS Percussion ensemble – the centrepiece was a container ship in which the musicians performed.

The Donaustation No. 1 directly in front of the Brucknerhaus was the focus of the visualisation.
