Viking River Cruises launches 10 new river cruisers
Viking River Cruises is one of the leading ship operators in the industry and on the 20th March 2013 in Amsterdam the company set the world record for the largest number of ships to be ceremonially launched on one day.
10 Viking River Cruises ships were christened in parallel, each by a charismatic lady. One such ship was the MS Viking Atla which was sent off by Birgit Brandner-Wallner (Mag.) with a bottle of champagne and the words: 'I name you Viking Atla. May your passengers and crew always be safe and may you always have a hand width of water over your keel'.
