Viking christens nine new river cruise ships in Basel

DonauStationen was invited to attend the spectacular christening of the fleet's 100th river cruise ship, the 'Viking Honir.'

Nine christening ceremonies took place simultaneously on one day at various locations around the world, from Basel, Rostock and Luxor to Porto and Mekong. Participants in Basel were able to follow the ceremonies live on Tuesday, 21 October. This marks the fulfilment of founder Torstein Hagen's vision of having 100 ships in the fleet.
